Day 1 20th April Welcome to Istanbul
Welcome to Istanbul, where you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Tonight, meet your guide and the rest of your group. Overnight Istanbul 3 star Hotel to be advised

Day 2 21st April Bursa
Today you head to Pamukkale, passing through rural Turkey and ancient Bursa to visit the famous Green Mosque and explore the Silk Bazaar. Overnight Pamukkale 5 star Hotel to be advised (B, D)

Day 3 22nd April Pamukkale
This morning we will visit magnificent white calcium terraces, known as Travertines, in Pamukkale where we also tour the ancient city of Hierapolis. Take a dip, amongst ancient columns, in the hot springs that were used in Roman times for their therapeutic powers. Then we will enjoy a display of locally handcrafted leather goods. Day 4 23rd April Ephesus & Pergamum
Absorb yourself in history today with a guided tour of Ephesus and a visit to the site of the Temple of Artemis. Feel the mystical atmosphere of the ancient city and theatre. Carpet weaving has long traditions in Turkey and at the carpet village we learn how the carpets are made by hand and what determines their value. Then tour the magnificent acropolis of Pergamum. Day 5 24th April Troy
This morning, we visit the archaeological ruins of Troy. We then cross the Dardanelles, once we arrive at the Gallipoli peninsula and enjoy BBQ lunch before heading straight to Anzac Cove to secure a good spot on the grass for the long night ahead. (B, L)

Day 6 25th April ANZAC Day at Gallipoli
Awake before sun rise to the ANZAC Dawn Service. We become aware of the almost deafening silence as we commemorate our fallen forefathers on this special day. We attend the Australian &/or New Zealand Memorial services before returning back to Istanbul. Overnight Istanbul 3 star Hotel to be advised

Day 7 26th April Istanbul Old City
After breakfast, you enjoy a fully guided tour of the only city to span two continents, visiting the Blue Mosque, the Aya Sofya, Topkapi Palace and the Hippodrome. Tonight don’t miss the optional Turkish Folklore evening. Overnight Istanbul 3 starHotel to be advised (B)

Day 8 27th April Istanbul
After breakfast, our tour concludes and we say goodbye to our new friends. (B)
